“As I reflect, the word that continues to stand out for me is authenticity. In much of the trading community, the focus is on portraying flawless success , which is both unrealistic and misleading. My deepest growth in trading, and in life, has come not from pretending to be perfect, but from examining my failures and learning to strengthen my weaknesses. In fact, that is how my entire system was built. Too many trading groups remind me of “beautiful women with no substance” attractive on the surface, yet offering nothing that truly stimulates growth. In contrast, Joey has created an environment where the goal is not just trading outcomes, but personal development. His perspective that growth itself is success resonates deeply with me and aligns with my values, which is why I value this community so much. I’ve struggled with perfectionism, coupled with a strong desire to help others, and through this group I’ve learned to accept flawed outcomes, acknowledge them, and use them as fuel for growth. This has changed how I approach decision-making, accountability, and trading itself.
