“I tried the $75 one-time option and I think it’s very worth it! What’s included in the coaching is more than enough in my opinion, but the quality of Aron’s coaching makes it even more so. I got coached as an IGL so our coaching sessions were focused on game theory, strategy, and understanding and formulating game plans in tournament settings and matches themselves. Aron explained and broke everything I needed to know in our first session in great detail while the second session was the application of everything he taught me. His coaching is extremely interactive and he consistently ensures your understanding of the topics and discussions by asking you questions and letting you try to piece things together before properly dissecting and explaining things to you. It encourages critical thinking and sets you up to be able to think and improve on your own after he’s done his job as your coach. I also think Aron is realistic. He makes you conscious of your current level and your goal and what that gap is, but not in a negative sense. He makes it clear that there’s a difference between us regular players and the pros who get paid to play the game on a daily so rather than aiming to be as good a pros, the goal is instead to decide the most logical play with the most promise in the shortest amount of time. One last thing that I’d like to mention about Aron’s coaching is that it’s very positive. He communicates well and quickly and while he obviously stays professional, it doesn’t come off to the point it feels stiff and unnatural. He frequently gave compliments (good job, wonderful, amazing, etc. etc.) during our coaching sessions and was very genuine in his feedback. He wasn’t overly harsh, but he was still constructive and didn’t hesitate to point out mistakes done by me or my teammates. Overall, I do highly recommend his coaching for those who are interested and can afford it. It’s amazing for what the price offers and is, in my opinion, extremely helpful for those who aim to play IDV competitively or at least more seriously. I personally think his coaching benefited me a lot and will help me improve as an IGL and player from here on out. I would definitely for it again given the opportunity and I have no regrets about the money I spent.”
